Operations Officer

Job Description
To direct and control the day-to-day settlements functions regarding the settlement transactions
against payment or free of payment and to ensure that these services are performed to the highest
standards to enable investors to enjoy these value added services from their custodian banks.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. To receive client instructions from the officer in charge
2. To do the prematching with the counterparty based on client's instruction
3. To ensure on timely pre-matching settlements of all trades in highest standard of client services
4. To ensure that any discrepancies found to report to the Settlement Officer immediately
5. To support the settlement officer to ensure timely responsiveness to client's queries and
instructions.
6. To ensure for the match transactions to update the NCS status from accepted to affirm
7. To ensure for the unmatch transactions to update the NCS status into failed trade
8. To ensure client has sufficient funds for Receive Versus Payment
9. To ensure client has sufficient available holding for Delivery Transactions
10. To ensure that all Client's Standing Instructions are performed accurately to meet client's
expectations.
11. To prepare the Cash-forecast on S-1 for trades which eligible to settle on settlement date
12. To follow up on value S for trades which is not match on S-1 or lack of funding
13. To make prompt report of suspicious transactions or proposed transactions according to the
documented process on reporting and/or in compliance with local regulatory requirements.
14. To fully comply with Group Policy and Standards on Money Laundering Prevention or local
regulatory requirements for the prevention of money laundering
15. To prepare the client's FX instructions accurately
16. To update all the outstanding trades properly on daily basis

Qualifications & Skills
Graduate from Reputable University, able to speak and write English Language
